HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV)-- New findings reveal the earlier in life you start dieting, the worse long-term consequences it can have on your health.

"You are avoiding food groups. It may be critical for the development of the person, and they are missing out on some elements that are key to having them have a good balanced growth spurt," said Dr. Catherine Slusher, an OB/GYN on the First Alert Health Team.
