Suspect Still on the Loose in Bank Robbery Case

WEYERS CAVE, Va. (WHSV)-- The Augusta County Sheriff's office has no new information on the bank robbery which occurred on Jul. 29 at the Carter Bank and Trust in Weyers Cave.

Investigators are taking a very close look at surveillance images taken from a camera at the Carter Bank and Trust building on Franklin Street.

A suspect wearing khaki shorts and a gray hoodie walked in and demanded money. The tellers believe the suspect had a gun.
