STAUNTON-- Business owners and entrepreneurs came together to discuss sustainability in local economy. It was an informal meeting called "Green Drinks".

Thursday is Earth Day and the theme fit in well at Baja Bean. The event was held in Staunton for several years, but ended. The group Staunton Green 2020 has brought the event back and it was very popular tonight. One business owner told WHSV that Staunton is well suited for sustainability because of it's size and thriving local economy, and welcomed others to join.

"There's a growing market of people who are interested in sustainability. And no matter what your business, this is a good networking event to pull people together who have different ideas that you may no have explored," said Courtney Cranor, at realtor at Green.
