WAYNESBORO -- Dennis Bradley went to Target Monday morning to get the essentials before Wednesday's snowstorm.

“We were here early this morning to try and beat the crowd before the snow gets here and be set up for what we need and get a few essentials like milk,” said Bradley.

It's employees like David Morandy who help keep shelves stocked.

“Our focus is going to make sure that everything that is available to our guests is out of our back room and onto the sales floor for our guests to make purchases,” said Morandy.

Morandy said toys and outdoor gear to enjoy the snow have sold quickly, but he thinks people might wait to shop for necessities until Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.

“It's definitely exciting and you have to move with a lot of urgency to get things out there for the guests. In the past, throughout the year when we've had these other storms, it has been a really great opportunity to come together as a team.”

Employers try to make sure the basics are in stock, like milk and bread. If those essentials are not available, workers are able to contact local suppliers to make sure that enough product is on the shelves.

Bradley wanted to make sure he was ready to face the snowstorm when it hits.

“We enjoy the snow. She always fixes a big thing of soup, and I go out and do some snow and come in and eat. That's why we've got to get here early and get all of our supplies, so we'll be ready,” said Bradley.

Employees expect to see more crowds Monday night and on Tuesday to buy storm necessities.

Morandy expected that crowd to increase if Valley school administrators cancel school.
