HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- Downtown restaurants and eateries are expecting a boost in business this week with the bi-annual Taste of Downtown.
Organizers of the event said it's a great way to promote local business and get people downtown.
At the Little Grill Collective, they said it's a way to experiment in the kitchen with new menu items.
"It's a great way to get people out and about trying all the new restaurants in town, when they might not normally," said Annie Cantrell, a part owner of the Little Grill Collective.
Taste of Downtown features 26 different eateries, including the Little Grill Collective, and lasts until Sunday.
The restaurant is offering a breakfast and a lunch special this week.
One customer at the Little Grill, Ranene Ropp, just moved back to the area and because of the special she tried eating there for the first time.
"This, I would think, draws a lot more people. When we were in university, this was a very popular place and I just happened never have to come yet, so thought we'd check it out," said Ropp.
The Little Grill Collective does expect to draw more people in as the week continues.
