Augusta County A decision has been made as to will fill the empty seat on the Augusta County Board of Supervisors. The Board picked Carolyn Bragg to fill the seat of late supervisor David Beyler for the South River District. He died earlier this year.

Bragg is the owner of the Stuarts Draft 7-11. She has been involved in the community for 21 years. She helped organize the Christmas parade and worked with the Sweet Dream Committee. She has worked with many local businesses and organizations, and looks forward to filling the board seat.

"I am thrilled and honored to actually be chosen to represent the people of South River District, and to serve them and to serve Augusta County as a whole, and the community and it's citizens there. It's an exciting opportunity and I really hope that I can lead them and help them go into the future," said Bragg.

Bragg will serve temporarily, and can run for election in the next term if she so desires.
