Sources report that Poplar Forest is looking for help welcoming visitors, giving tours and working in the hands-on history center.
The nonprofit corporation that maintains Poplar Forest is looking for volunteers interested in history, archaeology and historic preservation.
Nearly 80 percent of volunteers on the site have served at Poplar Forest for five years or more.
