ROCKINGHAM COUNTY-- There were three reported car crashes on Tuesday morning in Rockingham County.
The first happened around 5:45 a.m. On East Market Street, near the Harrisonburg city limits. It was a three-car crash on the westbound side of the road. It affected drivers coming towards Harrisonburg from Elkton. Lanes are reopen, but were closed for a time due to the crash. The eastbound side was not affected
The second two happened around 6:45 a.m. One was in Broadway. It was a two-car crash in the 100 Block of North Timber Way. One person was taken to RMH. There was no report of road closures.
The other was in the 9400 Block of Port Republic Rd. in Port Republic. One car flipped over. No other cars were involved. One person was taken to the hospital. There were no reports of road closures.
