TIMBERVILLE, Va. (WHSV) -- The Timberville Public Works Committee will talk about future water sources and repairing retaining walls on North Main Street at its meeting Tuesday night.

Austin Garber, the town manager, said after years of replacing parts of their water pipes, it's time for a more permanent fix.

"It truly is like a Band-Aid for the waterline. If you have the resources and you have the time to do it, it's just better to go ahead and replace an entire section of line than to just patch the line in those certain spots," said Garber.

Garber said they want to plan ahead for a possible water shortage.
