VERONA, Va. (WHSV) -- The Augusta County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 9-year-old boy found in his Verona home on Thursday.

The sheriff's office received the call at 12:30 p.m. on July 10.

Augusta County Sheriff's investigator Mike Roane described what happened in the 900 block of Mill Race Road as a "tragic accident."

Roane says that the boy died after a tool box fell on him; however, the official autopsy results have yet to be released.
