A sculpture traveling in Virginia made it to Waynesboro this week just in time for Valentine's Day.
The city entered a contest to bring the love sculpture to Waynesboro. It arrived in time for the City of Waynesboro's love-themed festival called, “Love is in the Air.”
The sculpture is at the corner of Main Street and Wayne Avenue, and it's only been in Waynesboro for a week.
The city's tourism office director said people from across the Valley have visited. She said people have taken photos in front of the sculpture for a Facebook contest.
It's all in an effort to boost tourism in Virginia.
The sculpture's about six feet tall and has traveled around the state: mostly to small towns and cities.
Wednesday was the last day it was in town, but the director says she's working to try to keep it for another week.
