Two Taken To Hospital After Car Crash

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- One car hit another Thursday morning on Route 250 near Fishersville, according to Virginia State Police.

A Jeep Cherokee, driven by a male minor, crossed over Route 250 near Greenview Drive and hit a Nissan, driven by Martha Camden, 48, of Staunton, at about 8 a.m.

Both drivers were taken to Augusta Health and then airlifted to U Va Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the Jeep, didn't appear to be wearing a seat belt.

Charges are pending and alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor in the accident.
