The Harrisonburg Police Department arrested a man in connection to a robbery that took place earlier this week.
On Feb. 6 around 10 p.m. the victim reported to police that he was robbed by two males. The robbery took place in the 1100 block of Mountain View Drive.
The offenders were inside of the victim’s residence when they demanded money. One male claimed to have a firearm; however, a gun was never displayed.
Shan L. Barber, 31, of Harrisonburg was arrested yesterday morning, and police charged him with robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, and the use or display of a firearm in
commission of a felony.
At the time of his arrest, Barber had outstanding warrants for a separate offense that occurred in November 2011. He was served with the following warrants; property damage, abduction/kidnapping, assault and battery, and robbery.
Kenneth Lee Taylor, Jr., 25, of Harrisonburg has been identified as the second suspect in this robbery. He is wanted for robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, and the use or display of a firearm in commission of a felony.
