Both the Vice Mayor and the Deputy City Manager of Staunton will step down. The Vice Mayor Dave Metz and Deputy City Manager Jim Halasz started in 2000.
Metz is moving on to spend more time with his family and business and his last council meeting was on Thursday.
Halasz is moving to Halifax County where he will become county administrator later in July and his last day is next Friday.
