Two Men Arrested for Pharmacy Robbery

The Harrisonburg Police Department arrested two people for the robbery of a local pharmacy on Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to the pharmacy on Saturday, Feb. 4th where they said the two men had robbed the business at gunpoint. Two employees were inside the pharmacy when the offenders entered the building.

Police also say, one of the men pulled out a firearm, and the men fled with several different containers of medication. Before leaving the business, the offenders forced the victims into a back room. Then they attempted to tie them up. The victims did not report any injuries from the robbery.

The two men were in their early 20s, and police took them into custody Monday morning at a hotel in Harrisonburg. Authorities have charged them with robbery and abduction.
