SHENANDOAH VALLEY, Va. - A follow up to a story we aired yesterday about a fundraiser that
involved teams of people pulling an airplane.
Yesterday, the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport hosted the Seventh Annual Plane Pull.
The event raised money for the Fairfield Center, a non-profit that helps kids and families with conflict resolution and mediation.
Saturday, they raised around $8,000 from the event.
"That's what life is all about, giving back and helping people and that's exactly what I'd want to do with a day like today is come out and try to help people and give it back," says Michael Buczynski, who participated in the event. "Trying to get that thing moving is not easy but once you get it, it goes pretty fast."
The Fairfield Center's goal is raise $10,000 dollars and you can still donate by visiting www.fairfieldcenter.org
