Va. Project to Promote Voting Accessibility for Elderly, Disabled

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Virginia officials have launched a project to educate disabled and senior residents about voting accessibility.

The project includes online videos that show voters how to register, apply for an absentee ballot or annual application, vote curbside or use assistance at the polls on Election Day.

The videos are posted on YouTube at http://bit.ly/vote--12 and on the agencies' websites, www.vaBoard.org and www.sbe.virginia.gov .

Printed materials also are posted on the websites, or can be obtained through either agency.

A webcast is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at http://bit.ly/WebcastOCT2 .
