Drivers around the Valley are preparing for Thursday's snowstorm.

Crysta Stephenson who drives to work about an hour away every day is planning to leave early and drive slower.

Stephenson said she needs the right vehicle if there is a lot of snow.

"I'm putting just a little bit of gas in my car this evening and I'm going to be getting my four wheel drive out when I get home and gas it up," Stephenson said.

Melinda Tyree said if it snows more than 5 or 6 inches, she would not even want to drive.

"I'll most likely call my boss and ask if I can work from home so that we just don't chance it. I don't think you know, if you have to go out I understand that if it's necessary but if not, then I think its best for people to stay at home," Tyree said.
