WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) -- A non-profit group in Waynesboro that teaches computer skills is expanding its reach.

The Waynesboro Area Learning Tree cut the ribbon on its new computer lab on Wednesday. It's located inside the Rosenwald Community Center on Port Republic Road in Waynesboro.

Executive Director Janet Harvey said this lab will be geared more toward kids and young adults than their main office downtown, but they're still looking to get people of all ages involved, "We're hoping that, because this is a recreational center, that when people are bringing their kids here for open court for basketball, that they're coming here for art classes, they're coming here for exercises, that they too will come in and be a part of the technology extension."

Harvey also said the new location will also offer classes, including math, English and Spanish.
