His name is Brian Ringgold and he is a motivational speaker in the Valley. He had no way to get around and needed a wheelchair-accessible van.

Ringgold is doing well and just this week, people in the community donated a van to his family. He said the van will help him get around town and will help him in the future.

The van has a ramp so Ringgold could get on board easily.

His mom used to lift him out of his wheelchair to get around, but now that has changed. Ringgold is able to get on the van by himself and he plans to keep up his work giving motivational speeches around the Valley.

He said he is thankful the community stepped in to change his life.

“Without the community support, I wouldn't be able to have the opportunities I have, so I'm very grateful. It's just another blessing from God,” said Ringgold.

Ringgold said the van has given him the chance to have a summer job. He said the van has more than 100,000 miles on it, but it seems brand new to him.
