Driver Involved in Craigsville Accident Flown to UVa Medical Center

CRAIGSVILLE -- The driver of a car has been flown to UVa medical center. Crews say that her car pulled out in front of a logging truck on Route 42 in Craigsville.

Chief Martin with the Craigsville Fire Department says that shortly after 10a.m. Monday morning, the driver of a vehicle exiting the parking lot of IGA on Craig Street was struck by a logging truck.

Crews extracted the woman from the car and she was flown to UVA.

All lanes are now open on Route 42.
