STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) -- Updated by: Anna-Lysa Gayle

We now know that 61-year-old Charles Kincaid was last driving a 2010 white Ford Focus. According to the Augusta County Sheriff's Office, it was found near the Blue Ridge Parkway, off exit 99 on Interstate 64.

"Well it's concerning because its been pretty chilly and the road is very slick," said Raymond Watson, a Disaster Manager with the Red Cross.

Friday the U.S. Park police and Park Service, Highland County Sheriff's office, the Virginia State Police and the Augusta County Sheriff's office worked together to search for Kincaid.

"To include ground search, a canine search and an aerial search," said Michael Roane, an investigator with Augusta County Sheriff's Office.

With the roads closed on the Blue Ridge Parkway on Friday, crews had a difficult time finding Kincaid.

"Cold weather is going to be a factor in that and it is to be determined when the next phase of the search will start again," said Roane.

They say the Blue Ridge Parkway is now the focus of their search.

A family member said they last saw Kincaid on Sunday in Staunton.

"If somebody gets lost in the cold and they are not in their car, then you start wondering about the health concerns and you know Frost Bite," said Watson.
