Virginia Attorney General to Attend Valley Senior Festival

Winchester, VA -- Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring has announced that he will attend the Winchester/Frederick County TRIAD event, Seniors: Armed with Knowledge, on Monday, March 31st.

The Attorney General will address the crowd of more than 130 seniors around 9 a.m. in Winchester.

Following his remarks Winchester Police Chief Kevin Sanzenbacher, Winchester City Sheriff Les Taylor, and Frederick County Sheriff Bob Williamson will sign a TRIAD Cooperative Agreement along with the Attorney General.

The agreement formalizes the partnership between the agencies to work together in identifying and offering ways of reducing crime against the elderly.

The senior festival will be held from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p. m. in the Valley Health Conference Center at 1888 Amherst Street. All seats for the event are filled, however we invite members of the media to attend.
