Virginia Stays Alive in CWS with Win Over Vanderbilt

The Virginia baseball team stayed alive in the College World Series with a 7-2 win over Vanderbilt Tuesday night.

Brandon Waddell pitched a complete game for UVA. He allowed just five hits and two runs while striking out five.

The 'Hoos hammered the Commordores pitching staff for 13 hits, scoring seven runs. Kenny Townes led the way offensively for UVA. He went 3-for-5 with two RBI's.

The National Championship will be decided by a winner-take-all third game Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. in Omaha.
