WAYNESBORO, Va.-- Waynesboro Area Refuge Ministry (WARM) continues to be committed to initiating and embracing solutions to homelessness in Waynesboro.
As a group of committed community members, we are hopeful for the future of WARM especially after the recent outpouring of concern and support for our efforts to serve the homeless. The original four families remain in WARM House and will continue to work toward successful transitions.
The leaders of WARM and other advisors are fully assessing past gaps in services and program preparedness while stabilizing and restructuring our effort to provide the professional and compassionate shelter that our community truly needs.
WARM’s plan to continue serving Waynesboro’s neediest citizens through the ministry of our thermal shelter and WARM House will move forward but requires the gifts, talents, time, and continued financial support of our community. To this end, we are connecting with community members who have hearts to help and show Christ’s love through prayer, volunteerism, and immediate financial support. We encourage you to connect with us through our website www.warmwaynesboro.org or by email to email@example.com if you are interested in joining our work to serve homeless families in Waynesboro, Virginia.
Immediate Volunteer & Financial Needs Include:
1. Women to volunteer regularly with homeless women & children at the WARM House (Must uphold and be committed to WARM’s Christ-centered approach to services; volunteer training required & will be provided by WARM)
2. Financial donors to help us meet our funding needs. Current donations will sustain operations…no donation is too small and will support our restructuring. Checks can be made out to WARM and mailed to PO Box 1494, Waynesboro, Va., 22980. Please indicate if you would like any donation restricted to the support of the WARM House operations or General Operating Expenses (thermal shelter, WARM House, staff, supplies, etc.)
