WAYNESBORO -- An Augusta County man was arrested on multiple charges after a standoff with Waynesboro Police. Police tell WHSV that 32-year-old Joshua Isaksen was wanted since November.
Police blocked off Shenandoah Avenue in front of the home he was arrested at around 7 p.m. Thursday night after getting a phone call from his girlfriend who they say sounded frightened.
Isaksen was wanted in Augusta County for failure to appear. He was wanted in Nelson County on two counts of burglary and two counts of burglary and two counts of grand larceny. He also faces felony destruction of property and misdemeanor assault & battery charges in Rockbridge County.
Isaksen is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail. His girlfriend was not hurt.
