WAYNESBORO -- Release from Waynesboro Police Department-
The Waynesboro Police Department executed two search warrants at a city residence that resulted in the arrest of a Waynesboro man and the seizure of several drug items. On July 22, the Waynesboro SWAT Team raided the residence of 38 year old Kristopher Ian Horn at 256
York Drive. Horn was wanted from Augusta County on one count of grand larceny of a vehicle that was stolen on July 17, 2013. During the raid officers found evidence of drug use and obtained another search warrant for the residence to search for drugs and paraphernalia.
They seized several bags full of suspected narcotics and other items related to drug use. This is Horn’s second arrest in the past four days in Waynesboro.
On July 18, officers arrested Horn on five misdemeanor warrants stemming from a domestic disturbance involving his wife. He was charged with domestic assault, destruction of property, petit larceny and two counts of making threats over the telephone.
Horn was served an additional felony charge for possession of methamphetamine stemming from the SWAT raid. Still no bond.
Charges against another individual present during the raid are pending.
