Website Predicts Whether Gas Prices Rise Or Fall

SHENANDOAH VALLEY, Va. - As rumors swirl that gas prices could increase this Spring, there is a new website that claims to predict whether gas prices will rise or fall in our area.

The site is called Fuelcaster and was launched by the car insurance company Esurance.

All you have to do is enter your zip code and the site tells you whether to fill up that day or wait until tomorrow.

A spokesperson from the company told us the site's predictions are about 90 percent accurate.

"So we've runned thousands of tests when we were developing the product and we've found that the accuracy rate is right around 90 percent then we also use some proprietary data at another algorithm that sort of work together. "

So far, officials tell us the site has recieved a lot of good feedback and they are thinking about adding a feature for diesel stations.
