STAUNTON, Va. - A Staunton Libertarian who will be on the ballot this November is talking about plans for his campaign.
The State Board of Elections on Wednesday confirmed Will Hammer as a candidate for the 6th Congressional District. Hammer said the main points of his campaign will be privacy issues, foreign policy and monetary policy. He plans to use social media to do a lot of his campaigning.
"I just want to give people some choice and capture that independent vote and hopefully that democratic vote, since they do not have someone they can vote for," says Hammer.
Hammer will be on the ballot against Republican Bob Goodlatte.
