HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- Martins on East Market Street is the seller of a $250,000 winning ticket.

The winner was one number away from the Mega Millions jackpot.

The numbers were randomly selected by the computer at the grocery store.

Management believes that this will bring in more players in the future hoping to strike it big.

They are happy to have the title of winning ticket seller.

Jennifer Lancaster, the Customer Operations Manager, said, "Our customers were very excited to hear that we had a winner here locally. They know that they have a better chance of winning themselves given that we sold a winner."

The $250,000 winner, John Simmers of Harrisonburg, says he and his wife will use the money to restore their house.
