Wintery weather has given drivers some headaches. Flight delays are also a problem this Christmas.
Luckily travel out of Shenandoah Regional Airport Christmas Eve was very light. Only one person getting on the last flight.
Airport representatives say there were delays out of Dulles with planes waiting in lines to be de-iced.
Fred Peele was the only passenger and just made a few minor changes in his trip, "I came down route 11 instead of 81 in the off chance that someone might have skrewed up big time on 81 which happens on a fairly regular basis. And this evening I was not at all interested in being delayed."
Christmas day on the other hand, 138 passengers are scheduled to leave SHD on the new flight on Frontier to Orlando.
