World Cup May Bring in More Business

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- Today Brazil will take on Germany in the world cup, and for the last few weeks, business have benefited from the games seeing larger crowds than usual.

But with team U-S eliminated, WHSV wanted to know what kind of turnout businesses expect to see for the remaining games.

The World Cup has brought Bowl of Good in Harrisonburg more customers, and for the past several games they've had to make more food just to keep up with demand.

The restaurant is preparing exotic dishes from the competing countries to draw in customers. Owner Katrina Didot said even with the U-S gone, she is confident that people will stick around to see the remaining games.

"The great thing about Harrisonburg is that we really have become a multicultural city and so people have other ties to countries as well. and we have a city that is a soccer city so i think you'll be seeing more people come out for those last few games," said Didot.

Bowl of good is usually closed on Sundays, however they will be open this Sunday for the final world cup game.
