HARRISONBURG,Va. (WHSV)-- Lindsay Curren is the creator of an Urban Agriculture Project which showcases different city scenes, including a farmer's market.

It's a chance to teach how urban agriculture is making a revival.

Curren shares that more local food means a better economy. This project will culminate in an art show at the end of September to lead into October which is 'Urban Agriculture Month'.

"Not only affects local economies and takes away local jobs, but it can lead to a lot of processed food that's packaged and not as healthy and it just disconnects people from the process," said Curren.

She says you can submit ideas for prints, all in an effort to reflect the food culture of Valley cities.
