HARRISONBURG,Va. (WHSV)-- Cat's Cradle is trying to raise $50,000. They have $15,000 so far, but they only have until Aug. 15 to meet their goal. If they raise it, that money will be matched.

Matt Chan, the volunteer and adoption coordinator, says money goes toward helping save cats.

"An injured or a sick cat at the shelter that we couldn't usually take, we can take now if we have more money that we can use to putting towards that cat. It takes a whole community to make us successful so that we can continue to help all these cats in need," said Chan.
