Valley Community Remembers Coleman Neeley

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV)-- People are posting videos in remembrance of Coleman Neeley, focusing specifically on his passion for sports. They are also posting photographs, holding vigils, even cookouts; all to remember this Valley man.

WHSV first reported on-air and online on Aug. 16, that 22-year-old Coleman Denzel Neeley is dead.

A witness says someone shot him outside a house in Augusta County.
Now, three men are charged. One faces charges of first degree murder.
The family who lives where it happened is grieving.

"I can't even speak of how they feel. I don't even want to feel what they feel. It's just a senseless act of crime for somebody's life to be taken for no reason," said Edana Yancey the homeowner of the house where shooting occurred.

According to arrest warrants, all three men will be in court for a hearing on Friday, Aug. 22.
