HPD Investigates Parental Abduction

The Harrisonburg Police Department is asking for the community to be vigilant for a 1-year-old child, who is missing from the area.

Around 11:00 a.m. today, Sarah Dillon, 23, the child’s mother, took Charles Dillon III from the 900 block of Neff Avenue. She was having supervised visitation and does not have custody of the child.

There is a concern for the child’s safety at this time.

The child is described as a white male, 25 pounds, 31 inches tall, with blonde hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue and brown outfit.

The mother’s maiden name is Sarah Jane Coakley Cline.

An unknown male was seen leaving with the mother.

Sarah Dillion was last seen driving in a 2001 green Dodge Ram pickup truck. The license plate reads XXF-2172.

Anyone who has seen the vehicle or had contact with Sarah Dillion is asked to call the Harrisonburg Police Department at 540-434-9992
