Waynesboro Judge To Retire At End Of Year

WAYNESBORO, Va. (AP) --

Waynesboro General District Court Judge William Heatwole plans to retire at the end of the year.

The Waynesboro General District Court clerk says Heatwole announced his retirement Monday.

He has served on the bench since 1993, handling cases in Waynesboro, Harrisonburg, Augusta County and Staunton.

Staunton and Waynesboro Circuit Court Judge Humes J. Frankllin also plans to retire at the end of the year.
