R.J. Archer threw two touchdowns and Jonathan Grimes ran for a score to lead William & Mary in a 24-3 win over James Madison Saturday.

Archer was 15-for-22 with 127 yards and an interception, and Grimes rushed for 158 yards on 20 carries for the Tribe (6-1, 3-1 Colonial Athletic Association).

Archer connected with Rob Varno on a nine-yard touchdown pass to put the Tribe up 7-0 with 3:26 left in the opening quarter. Dixon Wright's 44-yard field goal pulled the Dukes (2-5, 0-4) within 7-3, but William & Mary ran off 17 unanswered points the rest of the way to seal the win.

Archer's second TD pass of the game, an 18-yarder to Alex Gottlieb, put the Tribe ahead 17-3 in the third. Grimes' nine-yard TD run in the fourth gave William & Mary its final margin.

William & Mary has won back-to-back games, while James Madison has dropped four straight.
