It's been four years since the James Madison football team opened its season at home.
But that will change this September 4, when the Dukes open the 2010 season by hosting Morehead State.
It's JMU first season opener at home since they hosted Bloomsburg on September 2, 2006. The Dukes opened the past three seasons with road trips to ACC opponents: North Carolina in 2007, Duke in 2008 and Maryland last year.
This year's visit to an ACC school comes September 11, when the Dukes travel to Blacksburg to face Virginia Tech. It's JMU's seventh trip to Tech all-time, the third under head coach Mickey Matthews.
Following a bye, the Dukes close out their non-conference schedule by hosting Liberty September 25.
They open CAA play the following week with a visit by Delaware. Then the schedule alternates between road and home games for the rest of conference play, with trips to Towson, Villanova, Richmond, and Maine, and home games against New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and William & Mary.
