For the past three weeks, former James Madison cornerback and kick returner Scotty McGee has been working out in Orlando with Redskins legend Darrell Green.

After Tuesday afternoon's workout on campus with a Jacksonville Jaguars scout, McGee said his time with the NFL Hall of Famer paid off.

"It got me beyond ready. We operated at this high," McGee said, raising his right hand above his head, then lowering the hand to eye level. "And probably used about this much today."

McGee worked out for about an hour Tuesday, fielding kicks from a variety of positions including on the run, with a football already in his hands, with his back to the ball machine.

"I think it went great. I think I showed him a lot of speed, a lot of quickness, and a lot of ball-handling skills," McGee said. "I fielded all of the balls well, and I think he's going to go back with a lot to talk about."
