Authorities are investigating the partial collapse of a building under construction in Enon that injured one worker.
The incident occurred at about 8 a.m. Thursday as workers were laying plywood sheets on the roof.
Chesterfield Fire and Fire EMS Capt. Keith Chambers tells media outlets that the injured worker fell 15 to 20 feet. He suffered cuts and abrasions and was taken to a local hospital to be examined.
Chambers says about half of the building's wood frame collapsed. Workers told authorities the roof's trusses fell like dominoes. As the trusses fell, they pushed the walls outward.
