Grottoes' Caverns are Busy During Summer

June and July are usually the caverns' busiest months.

Crowds headed to Grottoes' Grand Caverns and staff members said a busy day could mean close to 1500 visitors.

The caverns stay cool at about 50-degrees and that cooler atmosphere draws people inside.

Money from the caverns goes to the town of Grottoes to pay for town upgrades.
