KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- NATO says two international service members have been killed in a helicopter crash in eastern Afghanistan.

The U.S.-led International Security Assistance Force says the cause of the crash is under investigation but initial reporting indicates there was no enemy activity in the area at the time.

A local official, Mir Baz Khan, says the helicopter crashed on Tuesday in an agricultural field in the Pachir Wagam district in Nangarhar province.
