Two men are now in police custody after a shooting Wednesday night in Staunton that left two people injured, including a ten-year-old boy.
Staunton Police spokesperson Officer Lisa Kline says two people have been arrested.
These two men were in the SUV that pulled up to a house on Walnut Street and opened fire.
Witnesses say they heard gunshots and screaming as a ten-year-old boy and a male in his mid-twenties were struck, each with a single gun shot wound.
Their injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
At this point, police aren't saying whether the shooting was gang related. However, they do say they hope to have more information on this shooting and the arrests later Thursday afternoon.
