Wow, what century is this? they still have anti-porn laws in the state that is knows best for incest? Whats next, Blue laws that cover Monday thru Sunday?

As long as a business doesn't have blow up dolls and bondage gear in the front windows, I really don't see the problem here. What grown adults want to do watch, read etc. in the privacy of their own homes is their business. Policiticans need to stop trying to legislate morality.

Check your local ISP's log files. You'll find that your community doesn't find adult material that offensive.

If the obscenity law says "it's illegal to sell, rent, lend or distribute any obscene item" then he better go after every internet provider in Staunton, Virginia. And if he doesn't then he is just a hypocrite.

while i'm worried about the double shootings and drugs around, i'm really glad that that single guy won't be able to entertain himself in private in such naughty ways... for shame. think of all of the kittens. no, you can't have freedom... NOT YOURS!

Attorney Raymond Robertson: A vote for him is a vote for the Biggest Douche in the Universe!

It's funny how they mention the obscenity law has been on the books for 30 years, but forget to mention that pesky 1st amendment, which as I recall, has been on the books a bit longer. It also doesn't freedom of speech unless its bother someone.

Mr. Robertson is doing his job and he is doing it WELL. He doesn't neglect ANY crimes. The "low hanging fruit" is "low life" and we're all against that.

Porn shops attract criminal behavior too. You complain about all the crime, so why encourage ANY of it? There are double standards mentioned here.

People are getting shot, drug dealers are operating openly, and we're worried about a video store. Talk about aiming for the "low hanging fruit".
