A Staunton teen who drank at least six beers and then got behind the wheel of a sports utility vehicle in March has pleaded guilty to aggravated involuntary manslaughter.
Nineteen-year-old Kevin Smith also pleaded guilty Monday to charges of underage possession of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and a second offense of driving while intoxicated. He faces up to 20 years in prison when he's sentenced.
