New labor statistics show that 89,000 fewer people will be farmers in 2016 compared to now.
Farming is expected to lose the fifth highest number of workers during the next decade.
Currently, there are 1,058,000 farmers or ranchers in the United States.
That number is expected to fall to 969,000 by 2016.
