Cornerstone Christian School wasn't filled with NBA players on Saturday, but you wouldn't know it from the crowd.
They were all out to watch children ages K-5 hoop it up for a special cause.
"We are raising money for the reading road show, we are trying to buy some gas so that Gus can keep moving and give books to people around the community," said Rick Martin, Cornerstone's principal.
Kids from Harrisonburg, Verona and Bridgewater all took the court, and though parents are always proud to watch their kids, a cause like the Reading Road Show makes it extra special
"Its a great opportunity for the kids to come out, participate in athletics, learn about team competition and that sort of thing, but also to learn about teaming together to help others who are in need and help others who are trying to help people out in our community," said Troy Suter, a parent of one of the participants.
