Delegate Chris Saxman joined presidential hopeful John McCain on the campaign trail in South Carolina. Saxman traveled to Charleston, South Carolina Friday to get ready for Saturday's Republican primary.
This primary has been said to have the potential to launch a candidate to the forefront of the presidential race. Saxman also attended a rally on the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant.
He says, "Were here doing some grass roots work, making some phone calls, getting people to the polls, working the polls, and doing what we're supposed to do on a campaign to help a guy win."
Saxman says after the polls close, he's hoping to have a victory celebration for the candidate he's hoping will be the next President of the United States. Saxman will make his way back to the Commonwealth Sunday.

December 19th, 2007, McCain supported McClellan's bill to fund our troops overseas. Most people would like to know where a congressman stands on an issue but don't know where to find information. I found a non-partisan, congressional website that provides every word each congressman says during session. For example, to read McCain's comments in congress, go to www.thomas.gov. Click link for Congressional Records. Page shows two scroll boxes, left box for HR, right for senate. Highlight McCain's name, then, towards the bottom of page, click yes for sort by date, then click Search. You'll be taken to legislation links. Click on first link then look for McCain's comments on page-link below his name. McCain wanted congress to stop funding porkbarrel programs. To, instead, use the money for troops overseas. He fought aggressively for his position on this legislation. Also, you can search statements made by other congressional leaders by following these same instructions.
For me personally, having yet one more republic in office for four more years is a big Mistake. As I see our only hope is having the Clinton back in the white house yes they had personal issues, but we were all living the high life while Bill was president. I how easy American forget. I am a Hispanic voter and Hispanics are are a cutlture that take politics serious and I am willing to be open minded and have a Wowman in office. I think we need that in this cournty the touch of a woman. Women have the ability to reason and to deal with problems better than man. I know growing up if it were not for my mother we would have never make as a family. Therefore I will vote for Hillary and try it got knows we have hads males in office for so many years and look what a mess this cournty is in today. Open you mind people and think with your head not with your stomach. Hillary I support you and will vote for you end of story for me.
