Icy Conditions Make Driving Difficult

The cold and icy conditions were a factor in an accident Tuesday night just south of Staunton.
An SUV overturned on the Route 262 bypass near the Middlebrook Avenue exit.
Police say two people were inside the vehicle.
One of them suffered with non-life threatening injuries.
Both lanes of the bypass have re-opened and VDOT crews have since salted the roadway.
Both occupants were wearing their seat belts.
